I will try to hit the highlights of the episode though so you can get an idea about what did happen.
This is one of those times when you just have to see this to catch all that is going on between the boys in this. I am not pleased with how it all ended but I keep telling myself it could have been worse.
AWWW a Jennifer Salt episode.
It was set in the therapist office(3 of the scenes were, the last one was not) and there was TONS of conversation between Sean and Christian so I have to say oh boy did we get a lot of both Julian and Dylan tonight so I have to say I loved that!!! I will put it up by the 3 sessions they had with the therapist then the last part of the show.
I also have to say that a lot of tonight was hard to watch, they are both in such a bad place with each other right now and when you love Christian and Sean so much it is very tough to see them like they were tonight but it did have some parts that I really did like.
Here is bits of what happened.

NOT a good sign when the "previously on Nip/Tuck" includes Christian forging Sean's name and the start of Kimber and Sean's affair. We all knew that forgery stuff would come back at some point and tonight is the night.
It starts off with this couple in with a therapist. The women, Dahlia, is doing all the talking and the guy, Mark, is just sitting there. He finally says he is done talking about anything and serves her with divorce papers. She gets angry and talks about how they have been together for 20 years. She tries to blame it on him having an affair but he tells her that it is her. (Not hard to see the similarities between this couple and Sean and Christian). She pulls herself together and says she will take him for everything. They both leave and go right past a waiting Sean and Christian. The doctor says he can see them now.
Session #1
The therapist specializes in couples, all kinds of couples. He asks them after 20 years why do they need therapy? Christian is doing all the talking. The doctor asks them if this is the worst things have been and Christian tells him no the worst was when Sean found out that Matt was his. Christian tells him that he loves Sean. The doctor asks Sean if he loves Christian and he says yes he does, that Christian is the brother he never had. The doctor then asks them each to draw their family. Christian draws him and Sean. Sean asks him where his kids are and Christian tells him they are in another room. Sean's picture is of Julia and the kids and no Christian. The doctor notices that they are all holding hands except Sean so he knows they are not together with Sean. Christian does not like that he is not in the picture.
Sean says that there is a joke that the practice is over the gates of h*ell and if that is so Christian is the devil. ( Oh boy can I think of several good jokes here all dealing with Julian playing the Source of all evil.
).They also did an excercise where they were suppose to list words about each other in 15 seconds. Sean had several like tall, peacock, arrogant, a$$hole, damaged, dangerous etc... Christian only had one for Sean - alcoholic. I was surprised about that but Christian explained why he said it.
When Dr. Griffin asks why they stay together Christian said it is because they are a good team and that he is inspired by Sean.
Sean says he is not inspired by Christian. He then goes on about how he just wants to help people, his same old speech. Dr. Griffin asks him if he is interested in helping and saving people why he went into cosmetic surgery!! I loved it, that was a good question. Sean then says how he has been wondering that lately too.
Christian then talks about how their relationship is like the "Princess and the Pea" and that their secrets are the "pea." Sean says he has not secrets and Christian says that he does. He then tells Sean about how he forged his name on the loan papers. Sean punches Christian and says it will be easier to leave now that he knows about how Christian could have cost him everything. Sean walks out.
Session #2
Liz is waiting with Christian. Sean comes in and thanks Liz for coming. It has been a week and Sean has missed several surgeries. Sean tells Christian he is going to sue him and that his lawyer will get hold of Christian.
Christian gave Sean a check for the full amount of the loan on the business with interest. Sean points out that is what Christian always does thinks that money can make things all better. Christian said that what he did was wrong.
They argue back and forth over Liz and put her in the middle. Dr. Griffin stops them from doing that.
Liz tells them at the beginning they were like family but lately they have been so busy hating each other that they have ignored everyone else. She said it would have been nice if she had been asked to be a partner. Sean tells her she is right.
Liz tells them that she is there to tell them that they are both self centered, egotistical a$$holes and that she is pregnant!!!
She then tells Christian that she used Sean's sperm to get pregnant.
She tells them that they deserve each other but they don't deserve her!! Good for Liz!!!!
Sean explains that he signed all kinds of papers giving up all the legal rights to the baby and says he is fine with that. Sean then has regrets and says he never thought she would get pregnant because of her age. He does not want another kid, he just wants her to be happy.
Christian asks Sean if there is anything else he is hiding at least he paid back his money and he is squeaky clean now. . Dr. Griffin stops them because the session is over. Christian tries to just give him money so they can stay but Dr. Griffin won't take the money.
Session #3
They are waiting for Matt and Dr. Griffin asks them each to say something nice to the other about what they have done for Matt.
Matt arrives and he brought Ramona and told them both that she was his fiance. Christian asked her how far along she was.
I know it was mean but I loved it!!!Matt tells them that they are moving. Ramona then tells them that Matt no longer wants to have contact with either of them. How Matt has been made to feel worthless!!! Oh gee wiz what made him feel the most worthless...dropping out of med school, hitting Cara Fitzgerald, being a mime and robbing banks.... SORRY I just get so tired of Matt not taking responsibility for his actions.
Christian says to just let him go that he will be back. Sean gets upset when Matt just leaves. He wants Christian to be upset and he won't be. Christian points out that Matt left them both.
They go back and forth at each other and Christian points out that no one else would put up with Sean.
Sean then tells Christian how he had an affair with Kimber for a month. He said he was hoping Christian would find out and leave him.
Christian did not say much about the affair. He did tell Sean if he wanted to leave there was the door.
The door opens and in walks Dahlia and she has a gun and shoots Dr. Griffin.
Last part
The boys are operating on Dr. Griffin. The bullet went through both cheeks and did no other damage.
Sean comments on how well Christian is doing. He said he thought he would say something good. I liked it!! After listening to them harp at each other the whole show it was nice to hear one nice thing.
Christian asks Sean if he is staying. Sean wants to talk about it and Christian is sick of talking about it he tells Sean he wants an answer by 5:00 or he will make one for Sean.
We then have my favorite scene of the night and it is between Liz and Christian.

Liz asks him if she is going to have to look for a new job. He says he is sure that Sean will take her anywhere he goes and give her the partner ship she wants. Liz then asks him why he thinks she would pick Sean.

Christian points out that Liz chose Sean to be the father of her baby. She explains that she picked Sean because she knew he would not try to own her or the baby and that he would let the baby be just hers.
She explains how the baby can make them all close and make Sean a part of things. She explains to Christian that she knows she does not ever have to worry about him leaving her because he needs her to "bolster his fragile ego." The look on Christian's face is simply to die for, you could just see how he knew that Liz cares about him. I loved it, a great scene. Julian and Roma totally rock when they are together. I love them!!!
Mark comes to see Dr. Griffin, feeling bad that Dahlia shot him. He is talking to Sean about how he should have taken the therapy stuff better and not come in to it the way he did. He said that he should see himself in Dahlia's eyes and be honest. He then tells Sean that no one is totally without blame!!! HELLO SEAN hear that??? It was a good scene.
The show ends with Christian and Sean seeing another therapist. She begins with "Tell me what you don't like about your relationship." I loved that!!!
So I am guessing that Sean made the decision to stay since they were in therapy at the end.
I wanted to hear him actually say it though but right now I will take all I can get. I like that they are trying to work it all out. This one was jam packed with stuff. I hope I got it all. I am going to watch it again just to look for things. I think this is going to be one that people will either like or hate. I liked seeing it all, I liked seeing Christian tell off Sean a couple of times and I like some of the things that were said to Sean tonight.

Most of all I loved that it focused on the boys again, I am not liking all that has happened in these final 9 but boy I am sure liking that it has all been about the guys!!
I hope everyone can see this one because it really has to be seen to be fully understood.
