6.12 - Willow Banks - The Final Nine

It has been a while since I just wanted to sit and cry when N/T was over but that is how tonight made me feel. It was just very emotional for me.

Oh boy is Christian in a very bad place, actually Sean is not in a great place either. It is right now that they need each other the most and they are both pushing the other away, actually I think Sean is doing more of the pushing here but that has a lot to do with my love of Christian.

It is just very very hard to see the way the two of them are right now, very hard. It breaks my heart because Christian and Sean are this show so to see them not be good with each other is extremely hard when you have loved it from the Pilot like we all have.

Julian was awesome tonight and in a funny way that makes it all the more hard to watch Christian being so self-destructive. I know some people will watch this and think that Christian was a jerk but what I saw was someone very very lost. It just seemed like it happened so fast, I mean I know last week was not the best with Christian and Sean but all of a sudden this week Christian is just in such a bad place. I am guessing that a few weeks have passed since they got back from Miami.

And Sean was a jerk to sleep with Kimber tonight. I know that Christian slept with Julia too but Sean and Julia were not married at the time, yeah I know that they were getting married and it was a lousy thing to do but I never believed that Christian did it to hurt Sean but I fully beieve that Sean is doing it to hurt Christian. Maybe I will feel differently when I rewatch this but right now that is how I feel.

Just hard to watch this. I am not saying it was bad, just hard to watch. One of those that I know I will like better once I know how it all ends and can go back and rewatch it when the season ends.

Here is how tonight went...


They are not starting the shows with previews of what has happened. I kind of miss the "Previously on Nip/Tuck", although I don't miss the time it took up from the episode time.

Started tonight with Sean sleeping on a mattress in his new place.

We then see Sean talking to a patient who just woke up from a coma that he went into in his teens, he is upset now that he has woken up 22 years later. He wants to be young again and so he wants plastic surgery. You can tell that it is a parallel to Sean not being happy with his life now too.

Kimber is making herself beautiful to go out and meet potential clients for her interior design service. Christian is laying on the couch pigging out, looking scruffy and not well dressed...very un-Christian. Kimber wants him to go with her but he won't.

The next day at the office Sean is eating and Christian comes in and Sean tells him he stinks. He is not dressed the way that Christian normally is. He tells Sean that it only took him 3 minutes to get ready and he liked it.

Christian meets this week's patient, Willow Banks. She is beautiful and wants Christian to make her not look so perfect. She is tired of people not liking her for herself or not being able to have female friends. Christian keeps giving her ideas like not eating well but she wants him to do surgery on her to make her less beautiful. Christian tells her he won't touch her with a scalpel. And Willow is the parallel with Christian for this week.

Kimber goes over to decorate Sean's new place for him. He is working out and she tells him at least he cares when he looks like and that Christian is a big slob laying on the couch. Sean tells her to decorate it all for him.

Christian and Sean are doing surgery on the coma patient and Christian is complaining about how they are doing it for free. Sean comments on how expensive Kimber's first bill was and how he only hired her as a favor to Christian. Christian tells him she does not work pro bono like they are. Sean asks Christian to leave the surgery so he can do it alone. OK I am hating this stuff between the 2 of them!!!! Christian leaves.

Kimber and Christian are having trouble. She does not like his new look and how he does not care about how he looks. She even comments on his big belly. As much as I love Julian casual and scruffy, it is just not who Christian is. He tells Kimber that the only reason that Sean hired her was him. That hurts Kimber and he realizes it and so he tells her that he meant he just told Sean to get Kimber booked before she became too busy.

Christian then goes over to Willow's with a bucket of chicken and a bottle of wine. He peels off all the skin and puts the chicken back in the bucket and eats the skin. Willow finally sits down and starts eating it with him. Oh boy this is so NOT Christian. They are then laying on the couch talking about food and he starts to kiss her. Willow then leaves and comes back bald. She asks him if she is ugly and he says she is repulsive and that is hot. He kisses her.

Sean has taken the coma patient to a club. He tells one girl there that he is a plastic surgeon and she wants to know if he is a narc. LOL Sean then decides they need to drink. You can tell that Sean is not comfortable in the club so he leaves. He goes home and Kimber is there and has decorated his place. He asks her if that is how she sees him, old fashioned. He focuses in on the old part. Kimber sits down because she knows he hates it, she tells him she just wanted to make him feel special. He tells her he is sorry and that it is pretty great and she got him or someone he would like to be. He thinks it is strangely right. She hugs him, he made her feel good.

She then begins telling Sean how hard it is being with Christian. She thanks him for making her feel good. Sean kisses her and tells her to show him the bedroom they have sex. We then see them at a later time in Sean's office making out again.

We then see Willow in Christian's office talking about fast food. He tells her he will meet her and they can get some food. Christian goes over to Sean's office and asks who he is banging and Kimber pulls open the door and says "Your wife." They then lie to him and say she is there to decorate his office. Christian believes it.

Christian and Willow are seen getting into her car with a lot of food. They are at a stop light and these guys in another car start saying things to Willow in Spanish, she is upset and spits at them. Christian tells her to get going. Willow is crying and upset that even with no hair she can't get away from guys treating her badly. She speeds up in the car and Christian asks her to stop but she just keeps speeding up and crashes into a wall with the car.

Sean is fixing Christian up. Christian is sitting there eating while he is getting stitches. Christian waits for Sean to tell him how he has screwed up. Christian tells Sean that he knows he cares but Sean does not. He tells him not to pretend he does not care and Sean tells him I did care once. Christian asks Sean if there is anything he still likes about him. And Sean tells him not really. I HATE this storyline!!! He tells Christian he is done being his conscious.

Ruppert brings a girl he has met to Sean to get her breast implants. Sean tries to warn him about her but he will not listen. Sean goes to get supplies. The girlfriend, McKenzie calls for Sean because Ruppert has collapsed, he is in a coma again.

Christian goes home to Kimber and she sees his injuries and he tells her what happened. He tells her he is sorry that he was not supportive of her. She asks him about his car and he tells her he was with a patient, Willow Banks. Kimber knows she was a model. She realizes that he was with another woman.

Willow then comes to see Christian and her face is very messed up. She wants him to fix her face and make her beautiful again. She then tells him he is pissed and wanted to be self destructive too in his own way. She also tells him that he realizes that all the success he has ever gotten was because of the way he looks. It was a very telling scene. He tells her no doctor could make her beautiful again.

Kimber and Sean are in bed and he asks her where his tread mill is and she told him she had it sent to the Malibu house, hoping that Christian would use it. She wants to get up and go home but Sean talks her into staying for a bit longer. We see Christian on the tread mill and he is running on it and he just keeps running faster and faster and faster.... just like Willow kept driving the car faster and faster.... and we cut back and forth between Sean with Kimber and Christian running.....it broke my heart.

The previews for next week looked very scary too but I will talk about them in the pre-episode discussion thread for Joel Seabrook.
